On 9/10/20, The EPA published updated label claims on List N for QT-TB under EPA No: 1839-83 as effective against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 with a 1-minute contact time. Additionally, SARS-CoV-2 will be listed by name on the label.

Product QT-TB (EPA Reg #1839-83-1658) has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to 2019 novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) on hard non-porous surfaces. Therefore, this product can be used against 2019 novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) when used in accordance with the directions for use against Hepatitis A virus on hard, non-porous surfaces.

QT-TB is a ready-to-use,quaternary based disinfectant designed specifically for institutional cleaning and disinfection in hospitals,nursing homes,veterinary clinics,offices,schools, motels,and hotels.It provides a high level of disinfecting against a broad spectrum of both gram negative and gram positive microorganisms. And the spray formula makes it even easier to use. Active Ingredients: n-Alkyl (60% C14,30% C16,5% C12,5% C18) dimethyl benzyl ammonium chlorides 0.105%, n-Alkyl (68% C12, 32% C14) dimethyl ethylbenzyl ammonium chlorides 0.105%. Inert Ingredients: 99.790%.
